Essential Screen Skills combines Screen Industry and professional knowledge with educational and training experiences to create specifically designed programs and initiatives to improve the workforce capabilities of the Screen Industry.

To help achieve this, ESS has established a committee of highly engaged Youth Ambassadors to help ensure programs remain relevant and impactful for young people and emerging filmmakers. Our Youth Ambassadors all have hands-on filmmaking skills, a passion for cinema and are actively pursuing a career in the Screen Industry.
